Very Old Depiction of The Holy Trinity

Description of Illustration:  This is a very old motif for depicting The Holy Trinity and dates back to the age of illuminating manuscripts. God the Father is predominate; He holds the crucifix with God the Son paying the sin debt of the world. The Holy Spirit ,who is invisible, is sometimes depicted with a descending dove in these old motifs, but, He is not drawn here. However, is was assumed by those who illustrated The Holy Trinity that He is also a part of the depiction whether He is invisible or represented with a symbolic dove.

Have a question about the illustration? Just type it in the comment box and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. I only publish content that is closely related to the subject folks.
