Jesus casts out the money changers...
Description of Illustration: Stained glass illustration, Jesus casting out the money changers from the temple., scripture reference, "And Jesus entered the temple and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons." Matthew 21:12 English Standard Version, transparent background
The cleansing of the Temple narrative tells of Jesus expelling the merchants and the money changers from the Temple, and occurs in all four canonical gospels of the New Testament.
In this account, Jesus and his disciples travel to Jerusalem for Passover, where Jesus expels the merchants and money changers from the Temple, accusing them of turning the Temple into a den of thieves through their commercial activities. In the Gospel of John Jesus refers to the Temple as "my Father’s house", thus, making a claim to being the Son of God.
The narrative occurs near the end of the Synoptic Gospels (at Mark 11:15–19, Matthew 21:12–17, and Luke 19:45–48) and near the start in the Gospel of John (at John 2:13–16).
Some scholars believe that these refer to two separate incidents, given
that the Gospel of John also includes more than one Passover.

The Annointing The Savior
Description of the Illustration: transparent background, stained glass window design, the annointing of Jesus is one of the relatively few events reported by each of the four Gospels, although the details differ in the accounts. All report the anointing of Jesus with expensive perfume by a woman, who pours over Jesus the contents of an alabastron jar of "nard" (or spikenard), a very expensive perfume.
The anointing angers some of the onlookers because the perfume could
have been sold for a year's wages—which the Gospel of Mark enumerates as
300 denarii—and the money given to the poor. Matthew's gospel states that the "disciples were indignant" and John's states that it was Judas
who was most offended. John adds that he was bothered because he
(Judas) was a thief and desired the money for himself. Jesus is
described as justifying the action of the woman by stating that the poor
will always exist, and can be helped whenever desired.
Based upon scripture from Luke:
"And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, and stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. " Luke 7: 37-38 King James Bible

Black and White Clip Art of String Instruments
![]() |
| Black and white drawing of an Irish harp player. |
Description of Clip Art: String instruments, stringed instruments, or chordophones are musical instruments
that produce sound from vibrating strings. In most string instruments,
the vibrations are transmitted to the body of the instrument, which also
vibrates, along with the air inside it. In the Hornbostel-Sachs scheme of musical instrument classification, used in organology, they are called chordophones. Common instruments in the string family include the violin, guitar, sitar, electric bass, viola, cello, harp, double bass, rebab, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, and bouzouki.

Beaten and Left for Dead
Description of the Illustration: a Good Samaritan painting, man giving a wounded traveler care, drink of water, bandages, donkey, beaten, near death, rocks canyon, bloody, suffering, parable given by Jesus of "who is my neighbor?"Scripture from Luke 10:25-37 King James Bible
"And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all
thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbor? And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and
wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took
care of him. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise."
