Koch's Animal Symbols Found in The Bible

Below I've included scriptures for Koch's animal symbols from the Bible. These may be used in the development of educational materials accompanying Chrismon crafts for Christmas lessons or programs.
A graphic Greek IXOYE, fish.

Symbol for The Heavenly Jerusalem.

"Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. "In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. "If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:1-3
and
"And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband." Revelation 21:2
Trinity Fish Symbol: God The Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit.

The Lamb of the Passion carries the burden of defeating evil.

"Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives." Hebrews 2:14,15
 and
"...who gave Himself for our sins so that He might rescue us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father," Galatians 1:4
The triumphant Lamb who was slain, with a Christian cross flag.

"He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption." Hebrews 9:12
and
"And He came and took the scroll from the right hand of the One seated on the throne. When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they held the golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song: “Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.…" Revelation 5:8,9
The mother pelican is a symbol of Christ's sacrificial death because it was believed that she would feed her young her own blood if she could not find food for them. This belief was commonly perpetuated during the Medieval era in Western Europe.

"He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption." Hebrews 9:12
and
"Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood." Acts 20:28
The Triumphant Lamb symbol is depicted with the Book of Seven Seals from the Book of Revelation.

"For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, "Read this, please," they will answer, "I can't; it is sealed." Isaiah 29:11
and
"Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals." Revelation 5:1. (NIV)
The power of darkness, snake symbol from the Garden of Eden, is overpowered and destroyed by Christ who is represented by the crowned eagle in this symbol.

"The LORD God said to the serpent, "Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life;" Genesis 3:14
and
"As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up; so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life." John 3:14,15

Koch Redraws Christian Monograms

A monogram is a motif made by overlapping or combining two or more letters or other graphemes to form one symbol. Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognizable symbols or logos. A series of uncombined initials is properly referred to as a cypher (e.g. a royal cypher) and is not a monogram.
Monograms first appeared on coins, as early as 350BC. The earliest known examples are of the names of Greek cities who issued the coins, often the first two letters of the city's name. For example, the monogram of Achaea consisted of the letters alpha (Α) and chi (Χ) joined together.
Monograms below where designed by Rudolf Koch and I have also include scripture references with these for those of you crafting Chrismons with them.
These are the monograms for the Four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The Four Evangelists are the men God used to write the four Gospels of Christ in The New Testament scriptures. "Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.  Their responsibility is to equip God's people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ." Ephesians 4: 11 -12 (NLT)
This is the monogram of Christ. It includes the I-C that means "Jesus Savior." "It is a trustworthy statement, deserving full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, among whom I am foremost of all." 1 Timothy 1:15
This Christian monogram means, "Jesus Christ Conquers." "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus the Messiah! 1 Corinthians 15:57 (ISV)
One of the oldest Christian monograms from etched on the walls of the Catacombs. Cross of Constantine Patterns. "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer." Romans 12:12
A monogram of Jesus, including the cross. "Stand firm, and you will win life." Luke 21:19
A bolder Monogram of Jesus. IHS with a crown for Chrismons. "Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him." 2 Peter 3:15
This strange looking Monogram is called a Sun-Disk. "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you." John 15:7
The traditional Chi Rho Monogram for Christ. "Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us." 2 Corinthians 1:21

The Feast of the Ascension of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, also known as Holy Thursday, Ascension Day, or Ascension Thursday, commemorates the Christian belief of the bodily Ascension of Jesus into heaven. It is one of the ecumenical feasts (i.e., universally celebrated) of Christian churches, ranking with the feasts of the Passion, of Easter, and Pentecost. Ascension Day is traditionally celebrated on a Thursday, the fortieth day of Easter (following the accounts given in Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, Acts 1:2 ), although some Christian denominations have moved the observance to the following Sunday.
